What is verification and Validation?

Verification: Verification is the process to check the product & insures the product is designed to hand over for all functionality to the client. It typically involves reviews or meetings to measure the documents, code, plans, requirements & specifications and this can be done with issues lists, checklists, walkthroughs or inspection meetings.

Validation: This is another process to insure that the functionality, as specified in requirements and is the intended activity of the product. It typically involves real testing & takes place after verifications are finished.
